This session was extra special for me as this new Mama is my oldest and dearest friend. It was such an honor to document this beautiful transition for her and even to get Grandma in some photos. I always encourage grandparents to jump in a few photos if they are present for the session!

Little E surprised us by arriving early but was a dream to photograph in her beautiful nursery! Hats off to this Mama for pulling together such a lovely space for her little girl…oh, and for making such an adorable baby! You can see Baby E’s gorgeous maternity session here.

On a recent dreary winter morning, I had the privilege of documenting this lovely couple’s final days with only a fur baby. He was a gentle pup and I can’t wait to photograph him with his younger sibling!

That first year flies by in the blink of an eye! I’m so glad I was able to spend a warm summer afternoon capturing little E’s personality as she transitions from baby to toddler.
